Trystan
Awhile back I saw a website that let authors cast actors in (obviously imaginary) movie versions of their books. I can’t for the life of me find the site again–which is probably a good thing. I’m sure I could fritter away waaaaay too much time there. But I mention it because I just discovered the TV show White Collar (we don’t actually have a TV, so I’m limited to shows I can watch online) and realized that the actor who plays Neil on the show is very close to the way I picture Trystan. Here:
He’s not exactly Trystan, of course, but close. Especially the eyes. In the (really unlikely) event that a movie version of Twilight of Avalon is ever made I would allow him to be cast as Trystan.

Excellent choice! I would have to agree. And the part he plays in White Collar? Too sneaky for Trystan, but maybe the right amount of internal confidence . . .

Is that the chap that plays the hideously evil brother in Vampire Diaries?
I love the idea of picking actors to play the lead roles in one’s books. Who else do you imagine for your books? I have always imagined Richard Armitage of Spooks and Robin Hood fame for mine. And gorgeously gracious women like Cate Blanchett, Phyllida Law, Dame Judy Dench . . . people with real cachet and acting depth.

OMG I KNEW I recognized him.. this is Matthew Bomer, and he played Ben Reade for a little while on The Guiding Light (*my all-time fave soap to watch)..and he’s from Texas so you know he is HOT.
Definitely an awesome pic you found there
(and no, I don’t think he was on the Vampire diaries, she may be thinking of Ian Somerhalder).
Great choice Anna, but when you pick one, you’ve got to pick the other, so who’s Isolde?

I watch White Collar just for him. It’s actually a good show anyway. He also was in Chuck on NBC. He played Brice a spy who you were never sure what side he was on.
So who is Isolde?
